As many people know I routinely track the number of and places that my visitors are from. Generally speaking I usually run about 8-9 visitors a day, so imagine my surprise when I got a notice from Google Analytics that I had exceeded my "Average Daily Page Hits, and then went in and saw over 134 unique visitors for the day.
It made me wonder if Car Talk picked up my site, or someone else, because it was going crazy!
In those 134 Unique visitors some patterns emerged, first there were 1 visitors in the DC metro region, which is normal, 1 visitor from Russia, and another from the UK. The big trip of the day, however, came from Palo Alto, CA where I had 131 unique visitors, all of whom were running Linux operating systems.
In Palo Alto, I can think of only one company with any interest in cars...and that's Tesla.
So yes, I think Tesla was watching.
PS- If you guys in Palo Alto find a Model S in the DC Metro area lying around that needs a driver for a few days, just let me know, I'll be happy to give it a home :)

And we're back!
After re-doing the content a bit, (and buying a new car that doesn't fit within the 2nd 100k criteria...) I'm changing the purpose of this blog to be road testing my personal car for it's second 100k, to the journey to a first 100k for my brand new 2014 Volkswagen Jetta!
Much has changed, and a new post detailing that will hit tomorrow!
It's great to be back!
